I’ve been involved in a variety of activities and projects over the years, mostly film-related stuff that I have worked on, like my various shorts. I won’t recount them all here, though you will see at this site some posts from my old blog, An Animal-Friendly Life, that trace my development as a blogger and activist from 2005 to 2008. Also, while buying a house and remodeling it is a huge project, or series of projects, I’m thinking more along the lines of what I’m doing ‘professionally’ as an advocate or as an entrepreneur, not my more personal projects, though stuff like that may find it’s way to the blog.
In 2007, I started a vegan advocacy group called the Boston Vegan Association that has evolved quite a bit through its various incarnations, to the point that it’s not fair to even call it the same organization. In 2009, I produced and directed a series of videos about everyday vegans called I’m Vegan, and later that year I also co-founded a vegan pizzeria called Peace o’ Pie. Since 2011, I’ve been busy with my regular day job and with my advocacy, but I am close to being able to announce a major development with the BVA, and I’m also working on starting a new vegan business.
Keep an eye on this space for further developments.
